Google Toolbar Not Showing PR |

Recently I had a problem that Google Toolbar installed in my Firefox had not been showing PR for any site. Then I checked my Internet Explorer, but the problem was there too. First suspect was my firewall so stopped it, but the problem have not been solved. Then I started to think very hard and tried to analyze what I did and what could cause this problem. So I remembered that few minutes before that I have searched for relevant blogs/directories to submit my URL with SEO tool AllSubmitter. This tool records a PR of every site he finds. So I thought maybe Google Toolbar server has blocked my IP because too much requests in short period of time. Trying to solve this, I re-started my Internet connection which gave me a new IP address from DHCP server of my ISP. After this my Google toolbar was showing PR for every site correctly in both browsers. So, the conclusion is, if you scan a lot of sites for their PR with some SEO tool and your Google Toolbar is not working properly after that, you can try to solve the problem with renewing your IP address with ipconfig/renew command, by re-connecting to Internet or by rebooting your computer, maybe it will solve your problem too. |
